Hooah! We have graduated!!! I wish I had a bunch of pictures to remember these days, but since I lost my camera and I didn't get another chance to buy another one, I will have to settle for what pictures I do have. Today was great. It was a small ceremony. A few people received awards. Not me. I lost my chance when I failed that test. Oops! I stayed in my dress uniform as long as I had to, then I changed back into my BDUs. They are so much more comfortable. Mel did, too. A few of my classmates had their family with them. Well, it looks like its just me and Mel hanging out.
We started packing that afternoon so we could get a head start on our out-processing the next morning. It was a long process, too. I thought we would never finish! Gosh...we had to go to this building with paperwork...then to that building with more paperwork, etc. Ugh! I was so tired by the time I boarded the plane, I think I slept the entire way home.
When the plane landed, I was happy. I do not like to fly. My parents picked me and Mel up from the airport. As the days started to tick by, it didn't take long to start missing those training days. Talk about an AWESOME experience!! Can I re-enlist???
